Offensive films shared among the youth
It is common for young people to share videos of their peers being abused and insulted. The videos are shared on various platforms such as Snapchat and TikTok. The videos are often shared in large groups and many young people watch these video even before the adults get to know that they exist.

Young people subject to this often suffer for a long time. Take an interest in your child's social media usage; let your child show you how different apps work and ask them regularly about the happenings on social media and who they are in contact with. Talk to your child, ask questions and tell them about the consequences of sharing pictures and videos. This way you can help your child think and make good choices. Instead of judging or punishing children when something happens, it is good to explain to them that it is allowed to make mistakes.
