Land and commercial premises
Haninge has a wide range of land and premises to offer; everything from industrial parks to stimulating knowledge-intensive settings. Apart from its proximity to good infrastructure and well-developed communications, Haninge presents you with many inspiring environments – which is a sales argument that is not without significance to staff and customers.
Haninge is a green municipality in several respects, and is therefore a good choice if you have an environmental profile in your business. Rail connections give you an alternative to road transport, and the central location is an advantage, with its proximity to ports, airports and motorways.
At present, five business parks in Haninge are the focus of most of the development work. In the urban heart of the municipality we have Handens Industriområde, an industrial park with logistics companies, service enterprises and car companies, as well as small-scale industries and offices. Slightly further north, by county road 73, you will find Handens Handelsområde, an area with an emphasis on retail – currently flanked by the hypermarkets and other large stores ICA Maxi, Biltema, Coop Forum and Siba.
Brandbergen is an area within walking distance of Handens Handelsområde. Here you will find a small shopping centre and two business parks – one to the south and the other to the north – which have a mixture of offices, automotive retail companies, service outlets and service companies. Kvarntorp Arbetsplatsområde is a business park is situated in north-west Haninge; a detailed development plan has been drawn up for establishment of small-scale industries in the area, which is currently dominated by retail businesses and self-storage facilities.
In the south of the municipality we offer the business park Jordbro Företagspark with a variety of companies, including Coca-Cola, Osram, Antalis, Dagab and Åhléns. Slightly further south, between Västerhaninge and Tungelsta, you will find the industrial park Håga Industriområde, with premises for production activities, warehousing and offices.
Haninge is now also equipping itself extensively for future growth. Plans for the Stockholm area's new business park Albyberg, along road 73 between the main municipal town of Handen and Västerhaninge, are currently being drawn up. Land development at the traffic intersection Fors Trafikplats, slightly further south, is also at the planning stage.
Here, strong brands can continue to grow.
Göran Holm is managing director of the Coca-Cola company in Sweden – one of several international companies that have chosen to invest in Haninge. Access to good-quality water, effective logistics and a skilled workforce were some of the reasons why Coca-Cola chose Haninge as the location for its Swedish head office. What prerequisites does your company need?
